The only positive aspect of this hotel was it's location to the Louvre. You could walk to the Louvre from the hotel. Your could also buy tickets to some nearby attractions, saving time.
The hotel was old, shabby, with minimal amenities. Breakfast was also minimal, not at all the usual European breakfast buffet found most other places.
great location, which is very important for short stay. friendly and helpfull staff, effordable price.
it isn't a complain. would be better if a bathroom door had a lock inside and smth to fix a shower.....
Location -next to the pyramides metro stop and a 6 min walk to the Louve
I had contact with three of the personal at the reception desk. Two were very nice but the one that greeted me was a bit rude. He made a comment that was unnecessary when I questioned the prepayment of the room ( I was mistaken)
It''s better to furnish tv.
The hotel was relatively cheap and in a great location.
The rooms were very poorly furnished, the bedding is in desperate need of an update and the walls and carpets were not very clean. I know it is cheap for Paris but I honestly don't think it is worth staying here. I would pay a bit more and get a nicer room somewhere else. The photos on the site do not prepare you for the reality. We did not even have a bedspread just a really ratty old blanket. The staff were friendly and helpful though and the location is very good but I still don't think it's worth it.
Excellent location across street from old harbor. Quiet inside. Breakfast delivered to room each morning.
Difficult to move heavy luggage up to 2nd floor reception for older couples like us.
Location Let us store our bags for the day with them after we checked out.
Internet wifi didn't work, priced to high for what it was. No lift to the 5th floor.
The location was simply excellent !!! The staff were also very friendly .
The shower head and shower chamber could have been slightly cleaner .
very good place, near Le Louvre & Opera, family ambiance, very clean.
no tv in the room which is rather strange, but being on the heart of Paris it doesn't disturb much
We stayed in a ouble room, that was small but nice. The room was well cleaned every day, even on Sunday, which is really great service! The staff was really great, helpful and kind! The location is super-nice!! The hotel has only one star, but it is really ok if you go to visit Paris for a couple of days! You will enjoy sleeping there. Bed covers are included in the price, even additional pillows and a blanket were in the closet. Wi-fi was great, really fast and working all the time!
The reception is closed a couple of hours during the day and at night. There is no elevator, which is obvious because the building is a very old tenement house... (only 3 floors). Moreover it is forbidden to eat or drink in the rooms.
the location of the hotel nearby some nice places in Paris. A quiet neiborhood.
The helpfulness of three different reception staff. All were very helpful every time we had a request for advice or to fix something. The maid did a good job too.
Mattresses and carpet were quite old. The taps in the hand basins (we had two rooms), took a lot of turning off to get them to stop running/dripping.
The staff extremely helpful, friendly and knew how to get to all the places in the city. The location is excellent. Walking distance to Museums, to shopping "Lafayette", to L´Opera etc. Also to small restaurant and food shops.
We were visiting Paris for our Honeymoon. The Hotel Louvre Richelieu was perfect for what we wanted. It's 3-4 city blocks from the Louvre; There are many metro stations within close proximity; and quiet enough to sleep at night. THe best part about the hotel was the willingness of the staff help us navigate our adventures. They helped us book tickets in advance for the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower so we didn't have to wait in the long lines and told us about local events. It was perfect.
The location of the hotel was perfect for seeing the sites. The staff were polite and helpful.
The room was very basic for the price we paid and the bathroom was not cleaned and left dirty for the time we were present. Also we did not receive the breakfast we were led to believe that was included in the price.
